Induction Video Example

JL King & Co.: Induction Training on Video

Less repeated presenting. More time for HR.

  • Induction video
  • Played on the meeting-room TV

The situation

For new starters and for staff completing re-inductions, JL King’s HR team previously spent around an hour personally delivering the induction each time.

It was the same presentation, repeated whenever someone new started or needed a refresher.

What we did

We turned that presentation into a dedicated induction video. The content stayed JL King’s; the video delivers it the same way every time.

How it is used now

Now, the team plays the induction video on the meeting-room TV. That frees HR to attend to higher-priority tasks instead of repeating the same presentation.

What this example shows

This is one client’s induction, and your site will be different. The pattern is what carries over.

If that sounds like an induction you run, tell us what it covers and we will price it.

  • A presentation that is delivered repeatedly, in person, by the same people
  • Content that does not change much from one delivery to the next
  • A simple way to play it: a room, a screen and a video
